DMS Group is private company for research, development and engineering in the field of the electrical power engineering management software. In this moment it is mostly oriented towards Distribution Management System (DMS) application software.

The basic product of the DMS Group company is the system of DMS Software. This software consists of several mutually compatible software modules.

Human resources

Depending on needs (DMS projects), DMS Group enhanced its team with new skilled associates. That was possible because DMS Group is one of companies constituting Science and Technology Park of University of Novi Sad. Faculty of Engineering, the primary base of the Park and DMS Group, has the potential of 9000 students.

Today, DMS Group gathers around 250 experts. There are 126 full-time employees in DMS Group Ltd; 42 are in cooperation from the University of Novi Sad (Faculty of Engineering). Experts from University are also full time employed in DMS field. Finally, the rest of DMS team consists of associates from other universities, as well as members in consulting arrangement from several power distribution companies in Serbia.

The average age of the group is 31.

• M.Sc. degree
• B.Sc. degree

in Power Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.

Business Model

DMS Group develops and produces DMS Software, and it has exclusive ownership over that product. The company is partner with several Western companies, which are providers of entire systems (hardware & software) for distribution management and automation. Since DMS Software is organized modularly, the partner companies are able to selectively use only the parts (software) missing from their offer (e.g. selected DMS Functions, data base, graphic user interface, DMS server, server, etc).

Apart from selling licenses for DMS Software, DMS Group has a large and experienced project team, which, on partner companies' requests, provides services in tender/proposal phase, as well as in installation, engineering, commissioning, and training for system use. Our team has proved itself extremely efficient in system customization according to customers' requirements.

Moreover, DMS Group develops by order different software modules from the field of distribution management and network automation systems.

DMS Group has contracts and projects with several Western companies that use both DMS licenses (as part of their DMS system) and human resources of the DMS Group in project engineering and commissioning.
