DMS Server represents the basic integration platform of the DMS Software. It integrates static technical data and historical data (ODBC gateway for database access), dynamic data (CORBA server), as well as third party real-time system (SCADA System with its RTUs) and different user clients.

In this way, DMS Server provides:

• Full connectivity with third-parties' SCADA systems and databases
  
• Multi-user operation for a large number of different types of clients over the same set of DataBase and real-time data
  
• Enhanced support for real-time operation including improved simultaneous communication with several different SCADA Systems via CORBA Server
  
• Support for simultaneous operation of multiple dispatchers, with different priorities and responsibilities, action logging, as well as direct command over remotely controlled switchgear through SCADA System(s)
